Overview

This project aims to support Indigenous-specific cultural reform that will improve sensitivity in acute health care institutions. This project will conduct case studies of hospitals with different levels of experience in cuturally sensitive services provision and design of surroundings for Indigenous patients and their families and friends. These hospitals will be used to gather information and to inform the development and implementation of relevant tools and processes. The goal is to produce tools and processes that assist hospitals in engaging with local Indigenous communities in collaborative and culturally appropriate reform.
