Maya Living Free Healing Association

 

Overview

The Maya Living Free Association provides counselling, workshops and training with the aim of strengthening the connections of Aboriginal families, communities, land and culture, so that inner peace and the resilience to live healthy and productive lives can be achieved. Women's day, workshops on trauma, grief and loss, cultural awareness programs, smoking ceremonies and men's warriors camps are examples of the services provided. The healing program consists of five different projects including:

1. Healing Family and Community
2. Healing Aboriginal Men
3. Healing Aboriginal Women
4. Healing Addiction
5. Heal the Healers
