This needle and syringe exchange program is run by the Western Australian Substance Users Association Inc (WASUA) in partnership with the South West Population Health Unit. WASUA is a peer based organisation representing the interests of people who use illicit substances. The target population includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who inject drugs in the South West of Western Australia. This program delivers regional training, support and peer education sessions throughout the region.
