Aboriginal early years: Little people's meeting place

 

Overview

Implemented by Anglicare WA, this program provides support for Aboriginal families raising 0-5 year olds. Run over eight weeks, the program aims to enhance positive parenting skills and facilitate links in the communtiy so as to promote the child's physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. The program is culturally appropriate and places great importance on the value of kinship, extended family, and Elders. The program is available in Kalgoorlie - Boulder, Coolgardie, Kambalda, Ninga Mia and surrounding communities.
