Tastes Good, Is Good

Overview

This recipe book resulted from a competition conducted by the Department of Health and Community Services Nutrition and Physical Activity Unit. Contestants from Aboriginal communities were asked to send in a variety of recipes that would promote healthy eating in their community. Recipes needed to be: low in fat; low in salt; high in vegetables and/or fruit; tasty; made from readily available ingredients; relatively easy to make; and use readily available equipment.
