The RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women's Project: supporting GPs to improve early detection and management of breast and cervical cancer in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women

 

Overview

The aim of the project was to identify barriers to cervical and breast screening among Indigenous women and to highlight strategies that could assist GP's and other health service providers overcome these barriers to increase screening participation among Indigenous women.
