BushMob runs bush trips as part of their core function. Trips range from overnight to several weeks for 8 to 30 participants. Skilled workers offer a safe environment where skill development, self discovery, teamwork, and counselling can occur in a cooperative learning environment. The trips are an alcohol, other drugs and volatile substances free experience of a diverse range of activities depending on the needs, age group and social/cultural circumstances of the participants. Activities include bush walking, rock climbing, swimming, caving, camel and horse treks, cooking, 4WDriving, mechanics, life skills training, group counselling, brief intervention and teamwork. Community networks are strengthened by working with other stakeholders and providing professional delivery of services.
