Go For 2 & 5 Fruit and Vegetable Campaign



The Go For 2 & 5 Fruit and Vegetable Campaign aimed to increase the fruit and vegetable consumption of all Australians.

Involving a mixture of public-private partnerships, the project brought together government, fruit and vegetable producers, retailers, health related non government organisations and relevant government departments.

The campaign was decommissioned in May 2017. An evaluation was carried out for the campaign.

The 2&5 Campaign

The Go for 2 & 5 campaign was designed to help all Australians achieve the recommended daily intakes of 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetables.

A campaign specifically targeting Indigenous Australians was launched in 2009, with a number of resources produced to promote greater fruit and vegetable intake, and a healthy diet.
