Yarrabah family life promotion program

 

Overview

The Yarrabah family life promotion program provides counselling and referral support to the people of Yarrabah, Queensland, who are experiencing anxiety, depression and mental health issues, and/or who are at risk of self-harm or suicide.

The program provides:

Clients can be referred by health professionals, police, individuals, concerned family, friends and the community.

The program has also established a Yarrabah crisis pathway plan to help recognise symptoms of suicide, what to do in a crisis situation, and who to contact in emergency cases.
