Rick Hammersely therapeutic community

 

Overview

The Rick Hammersley therapeutic community is located north of Perth, Western Australia on 32 acres of national bushland.

A four stage program based on the Therapeutic community (TC) model, residents are expected to complete the first two stages of the program (16 weeks) in order to graduate.

To get the maximum benefits of recovery from alcohol and other drug dependency issues, the program encourage residents to complete the following third and fourth stages of the program (stay up to a year).

The Rick Hammersley therapeutic community, in partnership with Madjitil Moorna Choir of Aboriginal Reconciliation, provide opportunities for Aboriginal residents to reconnect with culture through song and language.
