Women's healing group

 

Overview

The Women's healing group provides a safe place for women to build stronger cultural links, support one another and celebrate achievements.

The group is involved in a range of activities including:

A significant project of the group is a digital story telling project called Journeys from heartache to hope. The DVD records the life stories of group members and covers topics of domestic violence, Stolen generations, drug addiction, mental illness, loss of children, home, culture and community.

The Women's healing group meets fortnightly from 10.30am to 12.30pm and is run by Nunkuwarrin Yunti Inc. in South Australia.
