Overview

Healing ways: art with intent explores the role of art in promoting emotional healing and wellbeing in Indigenous Australian communities.

This program aims to facilitate discussion about a range of relevant artistic and cultural practices, both past and present, taking place in Indigenous Australian communities. It is hoped that knowledge gained from these discussions will:

The project outcomes include a symposium, an exhibition and the production of internet-based resources.

This project is a collaboration between the Dax Centre at the University of Melbourne, the Lowitja Institute and Desart.
