Therapeutic residential wilderness

 

Overview

The Therapeutic residential wilderness program provides culturally relevant and therapeutic out of home residential care for Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth living in the Northern Territory (NT) deemed to be 'at risk'.

Through participation in group therapy sessions, lessons and daily assigned tasks the program hopes to equip the young person emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually with the necessary skills empowering them to make positive life choices.

The program takes place at the Brahminy property on 250 acres of bushland outside of Darwin NT and aims to provide:
