Opening the gates: an integrated model at Doveton College

 

Overview

The Opening the gates program is an initiative of Doveton College, Victoria, which aims to improve the lives of children and their families from low socio-economically disadvantaged areas.  The program provides supported learning programs, health and community services. The program aims to address the following concerns: 

Opening the gates program Doverton College is the first social-government partnership of it's type in Victoria and is funded by the Commonwealth and State governments and the Coleman Foundation.
