Where's the shame, love your liver campaign

Overview

Where's the shame, love your liver campaign is a New South Wales (NSW) hepatitis C campaign. The first stage of the campaign was guided by the following objectives:

The Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council (AH&MRC) in partnership with the award winning band, The Last Kinection, delivered the campaign across 10 communities in NSW during 2011-2012. This led to the development of a range of resources including: 13 posters, 36 songs and 31 locally made community film clips. The campaign won an award for Excellence in Innovation at the National hepatitis health promotion conference in 2011.

Building on the momentum of the 2011-2012 Love your liver campaign, AH&MRC and The Last Kinection seek to strengthen the existing resilience of young Aboriginal people around drug use and blood borne viruses with workshops expected to take place in 2013-2014.
