Indigenous spiritual wellbeing toolbox

 

Overview

The Indigenous spiritual wellbeing toolbox is designed to provide online training for health care workers in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with a focus on supporting clients with mental health, alcohol, and other drug issues.

The toolbox includes learning modules on:

Learning is facilitated through radio segments, visual presentations and quizzes, and includes simulated rural, remote and urban health care clinics.

The toolbox addresses units of competency for Certificate III and Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander primary health care.

This project was developed by the Indigenous Lead Centre at the Tropical North Queensland Institute of TAFE, for the Australian Flexible Learning Framework.
