AMSANT AOD and mental health program support

Overview

Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT) supports the provision of alcohol and other drugs (AOD) and mental health services as part of comprehensive primary health care throughout the Northern Territory (NT). AMSANT AOD and mental health program support aims to enhance the detection and management of mental health and AOD issues within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and works closely with the remote AOD workforce support team from Remote Health. AMSANT assists those working with AOD and mental health issues in Aboriginal primary health care to access the most appropriate consultation, resources, training, support, clinical supervision and assistance with program development.
