Inside outside

Overview

Inside outside was a life education program organised by the Belconnen Community Service and run during 2004 to 2005. This program used a multi-disciplined approach to generate inner and outer health in children/adolescents. The project had elements of personal development with work on relaxation and stress management, food, nutrition and body image. The program was conducted with Years 4, 5 and 6 at a different primary school each term. The project aimed to increase student knowledge of self-management techniques in relaxation and stress management, nutritional knowledge and ability to make healthy food choices and an understanding of body image concepts.
