Barbeque

Overview

Run by the Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council (ADAC), the program operated a weekly barbecue in West Terrace in Adelaide city, where healthy food and drinks were provided. The purpose of this gathering was to maintain the relationship between Aboriginal drug and alcohol users, workers and volunteers. Information and education was provided as well as assistance and clean needle distribution. ADAC no longer receives funding for the program and ended in July 2010.
