Mingga patrol

Overview

The Mingga patrol plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of intoxicated people, who may be at risk of harm, are transported to a safe place. Children and young people, who may also be at risk, are also offered transport.

The service aims to reduce contact between people and the criminal justice system (primarily arrest and incarceration) by addressing issues of antisocial behaviour and alcohol and other drug use.
