Social support malpas

 

Overview

Social support malpas is a program to support people who have had to move to Alice Springs for dialysis treatment. Malpa means friend/helper in the Pintupi language. The program acts as friends for people from the Western Desert and Tanami regions of the Northern Territory and Western Australia, to support them with the challenges of kidney failure and absence from family and country.
