Rheumatic heart disease in pregnancy - Australasian maternity outcomes surveillance system (AMOSS)

 

Overview

This University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Menzies School of Health Research program aims to improve clinical care and outcomes for women with rheumatic heart disease (RHD) and their babies.

The program objectives are:

The project is expected to have a direct benefit to over 1500 predominately Indigenous women with RHD, who are likely to give birth in Australia and New Zealand over the next ten years.
