Yorgum Aboriginal family counselling service

 

Overview

This Yorgum Aboriginal family counselling service program aims to raise awareness of the incidence of family violence in Aboriginal communities of metropolitan Perth and parts of South-west, Western Australia. The service receives both state and federal funding to offer a range of services, including:

The program uses strategies that can be implemented to keep individuals and families safe. These strategies are culturally appropriate and relevant to the individual communities concerned.
