Prisoner throughcare



Prisoner throughcare was a program offered by the Aboriginal Legal Services (ALS) in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. This program provided support to Aboriginal people who were due to leave prison, helping them to reintegrate into daily life.

The Aboriginal Legal Service (ALS) Prisoner throughcare assisted with:

Prisoner throughcare worked with other service providers to assist in a prisoner's rehabilitation and facilitate a return to families and communities. Prisoner throughcare ALS offices were located in Canberra, Redfern, Parramatta, Bathurst.
