This project aims to investigate the long-term impacts on health, economic and social outcomes of complex interventions restricting the supply of alcohol in the Cape York region of far north Queensland.
The results of this study will provide an evaluation framework and evidence base to inform communities and governments if future policy and program adjustments are proposed in these and similar Indigenous communities elsewhere in Australia.
The project will be funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) over a three year period commencing in 2013.
