Beat it physical activity and lifestyle program (Beat it) is a physical activity program which is delivered by qualified trainers across Australia.
Beat it is suitable for people who have medical conditions such as diabetes, obesity or high blood pressure. It is also suitable for anyone else looking to become more active in a safe and supportive environment.
A Beat it trainer tailors a program to meet the needs of each participant. The participant joins a group for physical activity training twice a week, and attends lifestyle education and nutrition sessions once a fortnight. The course runs for 12 weeks.
