NSW ambulance Aboriginal cardiac education program

Overview

The NSW ambulance Aboriginal cardiac education program was initiated to address the high number of cardiovascular incidences taking place across New South Wales (NSW) for Indigenous people.

The program helps Indigenous adults to understand the warning signs of a heart attack and how to respond to these signs, by emphasising the importance of remembering the three R's:

The program has been delivered in a number of locations around NSW including Albury, Lismore and Gunnedah.
