The Stay strong and healthy - it's worth it campaign is an Aboriginal prenatal mental health and drug and alcohol campaign run by the New South Wales (NSW) Ministry of Health. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the risks of drug and alcohol consumption during pregnancy, as well as the potential challenges of dealing with a mental illness at this time.
The campaign materials are designed for an Aboriginal primary target audience, including pregnant women, their partners, and families. The resources were developed in consultation with Aboriginal child and maternal health, alcohol and other drug, and mental health professionals. They use culturally appropriate communication, including simple, clear and visual messages and images.
