Community re-entry link

 

Overview

The Community re-entry link program, run by Outcare, provides individual support for prisoners three months prior to release, and for up to six months after release, to help them reintegrate and make positive lifestyle choices. The Community re-entry link provides a number of services to offenders or ex-offenders including:

This program also offers practical support with general living and home skills, and helps clients manage money and family issues.

This program is voluntary, and referrals are taken from prisoners and their families, prison support staff, Department of Corrective Services staff and other agencies.
