Adult healthy weight service

Overview

This free nutrition program for ACT residents promotes a non-dieting approach for achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.

Practical help is provided on changing diets, being aware of hunger and being physically active. A dietitian, social worker, physiotherapist and exercise professional are available to assist participants to make healthy changes to their life.

The program is held at health centres across Canberra. It involves 4 times 2 half hour weekly group sessions and optional on-going support. On-going support is offered through individual appointments, and group sessions.

Please refer to the links to see where the program is currently being held.
