This free nutrition program for Australian Capital Residents (ACT) residents promotes a non-dieting approach for achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.
Practical help is provided on changing diets, being aware of hunger and being physically active. A dietitian, social worker, physiotherapist and exercise professional are available to assist participants to make healthy changes to their life.
The program is held at health centres across Canberra in the ACT. It involves attend four - two half hour weekly group sessions and optional on-going support. On-going support is offered through individual appointments, and group sessions.
