Koori Community Aged Care Program (KCACP)

 

Overview

The Koori Community Aged Care Program (KCACP) in Melbourne, Victoria, is funded through the Department of Health and Ageing. The aim of the KCACP is to provide services to assist Koori Elders to remain living at home, independently and in good health, for as long as possible.

Services offered include:

The program is run by Aboriginal Community Elders Services (ACES) Inc., an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation which commenced in 1991. ACES also run two Koori residential aged care facilities in East Brunswick.
