Heart club

Overview

Heart club is an initiative of the Western Australian rheumatic heart disease control program, and takes place in Wyndham, Western Australia (WA).

The aim of the program is to offer support to families who have been affected by acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD), from other families and community members. The program hopes to open more heart clubs around WA so communities in the future will be able to work together and sustain themselves without the assistance of the WA rheumatic heart disease control program.
