Indigenous youth program camp

The Johnny Warren Football Foundation (JWFF) has developed an Indigenous youth program which aims to take football to Aboriginal children throughout rural and regional Australia, allowing them the chance to play football regardless of location.

Working with its community partner, Coerver Coaching Australia, and with the help of the Indigenous Soccer Academy, JWFF will deliver its next Indigenous youth program camp in Darwin on 24th and 25th March, 2012. This will be the Foundation's largest camp with an estimatted 350 children involved over both days.

Participants of all ages, ability, and gender will be provided with the opportunity to experience and participate in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Through these experiences, participants will develop positive attitudes towards a physically active lifestyle, learn how to nurture relationships with their peers and improve their self-esteem and leadership skills.
