Overview

This men's group, located in Mt Isa, Queensland, provides a forum for Murri men to connect with one another and receive support. Group meetings provide structure, and consist of:

• discussion of feelings and alcohol and other drug (AOD) use issues
• court practice
• health promotion education resource development and sharing
• evaluation of meeting and response cards
• meditation time.

Group supporters and outside helpers, including Murri court Elders and AOD workers, regularly attend the meetings.
