Overview

This health and social studies educational and fund raising initiative encourages teachers to choose a day to communicate information about vision, eye care and the link between poverty and avoidable blindness.

The awareness day can be planned for any time of the year and ICEE have provided educational packages, containing lesson plans and activities, for early learning centres, and primary and secondary schools. Teachers are able to download the packages from the ICEE website.
