Overview

Port Augusta City Council provide substance misuse services to the community. The mission is to minimise the adverse harm to health, social and economic consequences resulting from excessive alcohol and other drug use to individuals and the general community, while striving for best practice in a culturally sensitive manner. Services provided include:

• Mobile assistance program
• Clean needle program
• Sobering-up unit.
