Overview

These five-day cultural camps aim to enhance the self esteem and cultural pride of Indigenous young people, particularly those who may feel disconnected from or ashamed about their cultural identity.

The camps teach participants about Indigenous history and culture, and offer the opportunity to try activities such as:

• sculpture
• painting
• dancing music
• bush
• walking
• photography
• film making
• canoeing.

The camps are held Jamanee Gunya bush camp on the New South Wales (NSW) south coast near the village of Milton.
