Koori prisoner mental health and cognitive functioning study

 

Overview

The Koori prisoner mental health and cognitive function study is an initiative under the Victorian Aboriginal Justice Agreement (AJA), a partnership between the Victorian Government and the Koori community to address Aboriginal over-representation in the criminal justice system. This study was established in 2000 and expanded in 2006 and is being undertaken by Monash University and the Department of Justice, Victoria.
