Overview

The Cummeragunja community development drug action team (CDAT) works towards reducing the local impact of substance use in the Cummeragunja community of New South Wales. The Cummeragunja CDAT aims to achieve this through:

• identifying substance use problems in the Cummeragunja community
• identifying needs not currently being addressed by local substance use services
• working with local organisations and community members to attend to these needs
• developing a local drug action plan which describes how to take action of local substance use issues.
