Overview

The goal of this program is to provide Aboriginal Health Workers with information that will help them to become engaged with foot management through diabetic foot screening and early identification of foot pathology.

A series of workshops and resources have been specifically designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Two types of workshops are provided:

• 'train the trainer' training for Country Health SA podiatrists to learn how to systematically deliver the program
  

• Aboriginal Health Worker training with the Country Health SA podiatrist trainer.
