Overview

This Tangentyere Council program provides environmental health services to the 18 housing associations known as 'town camps' in Alice Springs.

The program involves:

• dog care
• pest control
• landcare
• infectious disease prevention.

Tangentyere Council works in partnership with Alice Springs Town Council (ASTC) rangers to deliver parts of this program.

As well as environmental health services, Tangentyere Council carries out the following work:

• property maintenance, through its Housing Services branch
• waste management, through its Municipal Services branch.
