Kamilaroi ageing and disability services



Kamilaroi ageing and disability services is auspiced by Uralla Shire Council and funded by the State and Australian Government. The program provides services to Aboriginal people who are aged or have a disability, and to their carers who live in the New England area in New South Wales (NSW). Uralla Shire Council employs the staff of Kamilaroi ageing and disability services in order to provide day to day service management and case management for clients. Referrals can be made by anyone, and eligibility for a service is determined by priority. Upon confirmation, a staff member will pay a home visit to discuss the type of services required, as well as develop a care plan specific to the client's needs.
