This program provided role-modelling and mentoring for school-aged children in the Cape York Peninsula area of Queensland between 2001 and 2004. During this period, the program engaged an average of 200 young people a week and achieved a significant improvement in the behaviour and attitude of its participants. The program emphasised the importance of offering mentoring that was authentic, credible and enjoyable for young people.
The project has since evolved and now has a broader focus.
