Choose to Move

Overview

Choose to Move was a school-based physical activity initiative that was available to Foodbank WA’s School Breakfast Program schools from 2010 to 2014. The goal of Choose to Move was to increase the proportion of children in years 4 to 7 who report participating in at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day, during the school week.

The initiative was piloted and evaluated in 2010, and evaluated annually in 2011 and 2012. Program reports, detailing the rationale, background and implementation of the initiative, were published in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Evaluation and program reports are available both in full, and as a two-page 'highlights' fact sheet.
