Overview

This project involved the design of a community water conservation program for the remote community of Ali Curung, Northern Territory (NT). The aim of the project was to encourage participation and therefore empower the community members to implement water conservation practices in their community. This allows the community to take ownership of the program and also develop knowledge and skills in water conservation practices with the expectation of behaviour changes in the use of limited water supplies.

The project was undertaken by Live and Learn Environmental Education under contract by Power and Water Corporation (NT).
