Water and wastewater services in remote (including Indigenous) communities

 

Overview

The Water and wastewater services in remote (including Indigenous) communities project provides funding to improve the water supply and wastewater services to 17 remote communities in the Northern Territory, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. The project is part of the Council of Australian Government's (COAG) water and wastewater strategy for remote communities. The project includes funding for:

To date, the program has completed projects in the Northern Territory and South Australia, and is currently working on projects in Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales.
