Gugan Gulwan street beat program

Overview

Gugan Gulwan Youth Aboriginal Corporation operates a Street beat program, which is an after-hours outreach service for young people. The program targets under 18 year olds in order to reduce the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people involved in underage binge drinking. It also aims to promote smart sexual health and smoking cessation. The program operates during the hours of 5:30pm - 3am, two nights a week; rotating over Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
