Indigenous and Remote Eye Health Service

 

Overview

The Indigenous and Remote Eye Health Service (IRIS) was involved in a number of projects across Australia which focus on the eye health needs of rural, remote and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The objectives of the projects included:

IRIS was funded by the Federal Department of Health from 2010 to September 2014 to deliver a national approach to the delivery of eye health services in Australia's rural and remote communities. The program has now finished.
