Queensland lower Gulf area mental health service mapping

Overview

The purpose of this scoping study was to identify gaps in mental health service delivery in the lower Gulf area of north Queensland, and to develop a model for provision of mental health care to fill these gaps. The project's methods involved identifying, analysing and collating findings from existing mental health service reviews and reports to paint a picture of mental health service delivery in the lower Gulf. (This lower Gulf area includes the communities of Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Normanton, Burketown and Bentinck Island.)
