Overview

The Children's eye health education program in outback communities was a national initiative to help reduce preventable vision loss in outback Australia through improved eye health education.

The program aimed to increase early diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. To achieve this, researchers worked directly with local health, education and community service providers throughout Australia.
